Charity Shield 2014 Fundraising

The 3rd annual charity Shield finals were played tonight under the rain at the Hockey Fields . In the semi finals Salubrious defeated Dbol in penalty shoot outs while the dream team came back from 3-0 to defeat Green City 4-3 ..

In the final the Salubrious defence was not strong enough to hold off the Dram team attack in the second half where again the Dream team came from 2-0 behind to post 4 goals in the second half.

I want to thank all teams who entered and gave generously during the Charity Shield competition and congratulate the Dream team in taking out the third annual charity shield finals.

This season $3275 was collected in the Charity Shield and the funds were transferred to the World Orphan Fund after the game tonight. We hope they continue to work hard in delivering much needed aid to the Cambodian orphans and orphans where ever they may be.
