Somalia is currently experiencing catastrophic conditions with men, women and children suffering extreme scarcity of food and water. Our team at WOF reached out and partnered with Turkish Red Crescent in order to help ease famine in Somalia.

The support and generosity from our Australian community was massive, as we reached our goal of $50,000 in donations. This equates to over 100 tonnes of food to help the starving population. A Turkish cargo ship saw the transportation of our donations, amongst more than 20,000 tonnes of food relief, from Turkey directly to Somalia.
